A Zen master was sitting with some of his students after lunch and they were having a relaxed conversation. Just then a fly came and sat on the master’s nose. He waved his hand and it flew away. A moment later, he waved his hand once again.

One of this students observed this and said, “Master, the fly had already flown away. I don’t understand why you waved your hand a second time.” The master was quiet for a moment and said, “The first time I waved my hand impulsively, without full awareness. So I repeated the act, this time with clear awareness.”
The students were amazed and inspired by their teacher’s commitment to living each moment with full awareness and clear comprehension.
Very nice
